MOTO-MASTER – Stopping the World’s Fastest
Enduro brake systems leave a bit to be desired when using them on the road. Brake fade when coming down that sweeping mountain pass is quite common as is heavy brake wear. Both clear signs that the brakes are having a hard time, harder than can be solved with a different brake pad. We thus went looking for something better, not just a small upgrade but a real improvement, and found it with Moto-Master.
But don't just take our word for it. The KTM Dakar team uses Moto-Master on all their bikes, the same brakes you can find here under the Dakar series. Seriously oversized brakes which don't just have more braking power and less fade, they also give more feel and thus allow for more precision. Moto-Masters extensive Dakar experience results in brake systems that don't just look good, they actually work. The wave pattern for instance is not just for show, but has been carefully calculated to cool the brakes while ensuring there is always the same pad area in contact with the disc. That it works has been proved in the Dakar, by KTM.
There is a matching brake upgrade kit for the rear too, both in standard size (but a slightly thicker disc) and oversize. For muddy terrain there is a solid disc as well.
Moto-Master is made right here in The Netherlands, beautifully machined floating discs and light weight caliper brackets, combined with the Moto-Master racing pads give the best braking performance possible.
